Satsuma Sunset

Satsuma Sunset was part of a series of paintings that I did early in 2025, looking at watercolor techniques combined with ink.  You'll see orange (and purple) a lot in my paintings, but this is probably the most vibrant representation :).  It's a bit polarizing, some people love it, but some don't so much, I happen to love it because it's so different.  My very favorite area is where the birds are hovering in the sky on the upper left-hand side.
