Mountain Wildflowers

In Mountain Wildflowers, I love the way the upper part of the mountains melts into to steel grey and blue skyline, hidden as the clouds descend.  This was painted after a recent visit to Mount Baker in Washington, when we were denied the sun but treated to some vibrant early summer wildflowers in the lower elevations.
