In Making a Splash, I decided to experiment with using larger brushes and brush strokes than my normal style. It was challenging for me to let go, but I do really enjoy the looseness of how both the flowers and the foliage turned out. There is a rhythm to the leaves and petals that I really enjoy in this piece.
