Green and Pleasant

Green and Pleasant was one of my very first original pieces of work that I completed in early 2025.  I was studying the architecture of trees, especially deciduous trees in the winter when the bare bones are exposed.  But I wanted this piece to feel vibrant, not cold or bleak, so I added an abundance of green layers in the background, with the hills melting into the skyline.  I really love how this one turned out - with the tree as a focal point against the jewel teals and blues behind.
